Class B Machine Operator

The machine operator will have expertise in producing parts using a CNC punching machine.
Responsibilities
- Read and execute according to plans;
- Prepare the material;
- Have very good knowledge of or master the CNC punching machine;
- Know the products;
- Use metrology tools;
- Validate the quality of the work according to established standards;
- Know punching tools and tolerances;
- All other related tasks.

- Immediately report to their supervisor any dangerous situation, risk, or potential or actual accident occurring in their work area.
- Keep their workstation clean and organized to prevent accidents.
- Ensure the proper functioning of safety devices on the CNC punching machine before each use.
Desired Skills
- DEP in precision sheet metal work, one year of relevant experience with a punching machine, or an equivalent combination considered acceptable;
- Master reading and executing plans;
- Dexterity, patience, and attention to detail are required skills for this position;
- Precision and speed of execution;
- Mathematical skills;
- Be methodical and analytical;
- Be resourceful and autonomous.
